At CCHS, a high emphasis is placed on students personally experiencing the topic they are researching. Two students, Katerina Meybaum and Emma DeVries, have done just that. Every Monday afternoon, they headed to the Springbrook Nature Center to learn more about animal care and creation stewardship. Emma DeVries says, “We chose this project because we had done volunteering with people before and we were more interested in doing something different and we both enjoy working with animals.” Katerina commented: “The last day we were there, we saw a snake shed its skin. That was the coolest thing I have ever seen.” Emma and Katerina presented their project on February the 6th.
