As many students know, the sophomores are deep into their study of poetry. Recently, the students have signed up for a poetry contest called “Ode to your zip code”. The students were asked to submit a 5 line poem that connects to the area in which you live. Each line is required to have the same amount of words corresponding to the numbers in your zip code. But the sophomore students are not the only students in the school who can do this; you can too! Schools all over the country are composing their “zip odes.” You can write a zip ode and could likely become one of 20 finalists to win.
